My former employer's crime wing is spreading falsehood about my character. How can I stop it?

My former employer's crime wing is spreading falsehood about my character. How can I stop it?
When I was a student, I worked part time for a private parcel service, use the money to pay my way in college. While there, I found that this company is using its air, land and sea operation to import over 90 percent of crack cocaine into USA.There was a vacancy for a part time supervisor which I applied but only to be discrimnated against because I am a person with disabilities. Court action against them was settled out of court. Now, they are using their crime wing unit to harrase, intimidate and spread falsehood to both black and white people about my character because they feared that I might have told outsiders about their being number one importer and distributor of cocaine from Colombia, Mexico, Afhanistan's heroin into USA. They put a lowjack in my car following me to where I go. When I left any place, they entered and told the people in there that I am a bad person. The next time I stopped by the place, those people became hostile and some told me not to come back

Stuff like this at times just isnt worth talking about. Sometimes its best to just cut all ties. I had a former employer do something similar. I quit and they threatened me if I were to tell anyone of the illegal activites going on within the company. I wasnt scared, but I figured it just wasnt worth it. **Oh and my opinion, posting this on the net isnt a smart move on your behalf**

Hahahahaha good one. Didn't you already tell everyone that they import coke into the country? So basically they might as well kill you... why bother with you... if you testify to the feds though, i'm sure they could hook you up with witness protection.... good luck though lol

Lol you sound like you're on crack yourself/ :)

Is Colombia safe?

Is Colombia safe?
I know it might not be very safe to live there.. I don't know.. but I want to visit my exchange student who lives in Bogotá, and she says that she'll take me to safe areas. My parents don't think it's a good idea because of all of the information they've heard about the drugs and the terrorists. I would only be down there for a couple weeks, is that a good idea? I'm also worried because I have light skin and very light brown hair and I know I will stick out. Is it safe for Americans?

Most of Colombia is safe for Americans, especially Bogota. As long as you have your friend with you and you keep smart like you would in any place you travel to you will be fine. (like dont flash money around, go in dark allies, drink somthing that you left unattendend or that someone else opened for you while yo werent looking etc...) This is all assuming that you know and trust the exchange student. You have met themor alked to them extensivly, you have their address and info and you gave it to your parents etc. If you want to get more specific travel advise about Colombia you should ask people at www.colombianblog.com Good luck! I really hope you get to go, it is a beautifull country and will be a great experience, i'll be so jealouse! P.S. I wanted to add that Colombians come in all shapes sizes and colors, even blonde. Your looks might not make you stand out but your clothing and accent would... ( not a bad thing though)

What do you think Cali. Students Get Themselves Arrested To Test Obama?

What do you think Cali. Students Get Themselves Arrested To Test Obama?
Seven illegal immigrant students arrested in a Southern California street protest are now waiting to see whether they will be deported in a test of the Obama administration's immigration policy. The students were questioned by Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials after they were arrested Tuesday for blocking street traffic during a street protest in San Bernardino, said Jonathan Perez, a 24-year-old communications student who was detained. Perez, who will attend Pasadena City College this fall, said the students intentionally blocked the street in the hopes of getting arrested to prove that law enforcement agencies in San Bernardino are collaborating with immigration authorities - and that students get no special treatment. "We wanted to ... show that once we're in prison that ICE does get involved with undocumented youth, although Obama says they don't," said Perez, who came to the country from Colombia when he was 3. Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials chose not to detain the students after questioning them but are still investigating, the agency said in a statement. ICE spokeswoman Lori Haley declined to state whether the students would be put into deportation proceedings. The protest comes as the Obama administration has made clear that illegal immigrant students who were brought here as children are not a priority for deportation. Even so, students say some continue to be deported and have led similar demonstrations elsewhere in the country against stringent immigration laws and in an effort to push for a bill to grant them legal status. Illegal immigrant student groups planned the demonstration for San Bernardino Valley College, where they say campus police have turned over students to local law enforcement agencies that collaborate with federal immigration authorities. At least one student detained by campus police in the past is now in deportation proceedings, said Javier Hernandez, a protest organizer and member of the Inland Empire Dream Team, an organization of illegal immigrant college students in the suburbs east of Los Angeles. On Tuesday, students gathered at the campus to hear the seven students "come out" and reveal their immigration status. The group then led a march through the campus and later blocked a nearby street until police told them to leave, Hernandez said. The seven students who refused to budge were arrested by San Bernardino police, held for 12 hours and are being charged with unlawful assembly and failure to disperse, he said. http://en.terra.com/latin-in-america/news/cali_students_get_themselves_arrested_to_test_president_obama/hof15932

They should be deported a soon as possible. These are criminals who have come to try to force their illegal presence on us.
2 :
Nothing will happen here.Last time protesters were arrested, they dropped all charges and indicated 80 hours community service. These arrests are meaningless when all charges will be dropped
3 :
how odd, liberals trying to make Obama look bad
4 :
They want to be deported so we should let them.

Is the acceptance into medical school higher for physics majors than that of biology majors?

Is the acceptance into medical school higher for physics majors than that of biology majors?
So i am considering a career in medicine, and i am still in high school. i was thinking in majoring in biology b/c thats my strong science subject, but then i found out acceptance rates for that subject is low b/c it is a popular subject for pre-med students. i want to go to univeristy of colombia for medical school, but i know it is hard to get in, and i am very skeptical about what i should major in before.

What you major in doesn't exactly matter. If you really enjoy biology, then major in it. Major in what you like most, so you do really well. Just try to do amazing in the classes that are required for med. school.
2 :
I think it really doesn't matter. As long as you do WELL in your core curriculum/prerequisites, you will have a shot. This would include year of physics, biology, 2 years chemistry including year or organic, etc. This is of course on every med. school's website. For Columbia, however, your choice of undergrad will be a huge factor in your acceptance; those who go to Ivy schools will be more favored than those who are from small state schools. And, of note, Columbia is not the be-all, end-all in regards to medical school. It is in an absolutely atrocious part of NYC. Best of luck.

If you like biology then by all means, major in it. Biology is still the most common Major in medical school applicants. Just because it is common doesn't mean it's thought any less of. Don't base your future on what you hear. Always find sources for accurate information. For medical school, it's the Association of American Medical Colleges. http://www.aamc.org/ On the left side menu you'll find their link to surveys and data. On the scroll down menu, go to the Facts link and you can see what the statistics were for last year's admissions (as well as other years). Explore the site--it'll answer most of your questions and you can trust the information provided.
