Did i miss the messages?

Did i miss the messages?
Okay heres the story this girl who was an international student from Colombia, really beautiful and cute accent needed help getting used to the highschool i am at. So i tried speaking lots of spanish to her and trying to show her around the city. She invited me to her house and as soon as i walk in the parents knew everything about me apprantly she talked about me alot. She called me lindo which means handsome i didn't think anything of it and she said things like i love you which didn't cross my mind because i found South Americans to be very affectionate but she tried to teach me how to salsa dance which i thought was kind of random. But as soon as i told her i got a girlfriend she didn't contact me for atleast 3 weeks. Did she like me or am i just overthinking? Yes aint an answer because im actually asking whether i was overthinking it or not, or did she like me ....

DUDE she liked you. You missed the ques. I understand you had a girlfriend. That brings to question why weren't you up front with this young lady ? I mean here she is new in this country and your school. You take it upon yourself to befriend her, try to speak her language and show her around. She is thinking this guy likes me. She says she loves you and calls you handsome and tries to teach you to Salsa dance. And just what did your girlfriend think about you hanging out with this really beautiful Colombian international student with a cute accent ? You lead her on and then broke her heart. Shame shame..

I'd choose the Canadian site - it's going to cost less than either of the other two, and the opportunities are greater in Canada. Buena suerta!

It sounds like you don't want to go to London so let's look at the other two choices. New York is going to be very expensive and it's a really big city. Pratt is in Brooklyn and is well established. University of Waterloo is one of the best in Canada. Waterloo is also a great medium size city. The school of Architecture however is actually in Cambridge about 20 minutes outside of Waterloo. You can always take the bus into Waterloo where most of the student life is going on. Good luck choosing. I recommend Waterloo.

Am I elegible to study at McGill University?

Am I elegible to study at McGill University?
Hi, I'm an international Student from Colombia. I want to study a BA in athropology at McGill. Does McGill review all the marks of High School or just the marks of the last two years? I have a Bachillerato credential (Colombia's High School). In 10th grade I achieved the equivalent to 3.2 (converted into american GPA) or B as an average. In the last year of Bachillerato (11th grade) I achieved an average of 3.3 or B+. In McGill's web there isn't enough information about the admission criteria, So, I don't know if it's possible to get into McGill with my current marks. By the way, Do I need to take the ACT or SAT tests?. In McGill's web there isn't information about that, but, I've read in several forums about that people that are international students talk about those test as requirement. those test are mandatory for american students but I don't know if it is mandatory for other countries, I'm kinda confused. Also, I want to know if getting into McGill's anthropology department is too difficult Lastly, What do you recomend me to do for getting into McGill? Thanks a Lot

California or Australia. Which are the Top Business School in this places?

California or Australia. Which are the Top Business School in this places?
I'm 33 years old from Colombia. I spend a lot of years dedicated to business, and also International social working. I'm concedering on going to Business School, as an Old non-traditional college student. I like Southern California, and East-Coast Australia, because It's important for me to study near beaches with good waves for surfing. I have been surfing since I was a Kid. Thanks.

If you want some good surf, I would have to say UCSD. Blacks is almost within walking distance of the campus. I think that UCSD has the best surf in California http://www.surfline.com/reports/report_travel.cfm?id=4245

I don't know much about Australia as I've never been there, but I've been living in San Diego, California for most of my life. I agree that UCSD is definitely one of the top schools in California to go to. SDSU has a strong Business Department, and is really competitive. Only bad thing about SDSU from an academics standpoint is that there's a lot of distractions. From the Fraternities, to Sororities, and Parties, there's so much to distract you. UCSD has some of that, but clearly not as much. There are miles and miles of great surf within biking and driving distance to UCSD. In the South, there's good surf in Point Loma/ Sunset Cliffs, Ocean Beach, Pacific Beach, Windansea, La Jolla/ Scripps Pier, Black's Beach north of La Jolla, 15th Street in Del Mar, Cardiff Reef, Swami's, etc. I've left out a bunch of surf spots, but these are the ones I could think of off the top of my head.

If you are interested in social work you will want to go to school for an MSW not a business degree. There are good schools in southern CA and in Australia. DA

I'm going to Bogota, Colombia in a week. Any advice??

I'm going to Bogota, Colombia in a week. Any advice??
My friend was a foreign exchange student here last year from Colombia and next week I am going to visit her. I have a friend that went there on spring break last year and he said it was fun but he's a guy. Is there anything that I need to worry about? I'm going to be with her and her parents most of the time but I am a white girl going to be around a lot of latinos and I'm going to stick out like a sore thumb! I'm just a worry wart but I just need things to be precautious about and what's safe to do and what's not. Please answer it will be much appreciated! Thanks!

If you go, stay with her, or her parents. Don't go on your own.
